The Social Media market is flooded with consultants, strategists and self-proclaimed “gurus”, who work to create social media strategies and campaigns for their clients. These guys generally address a lack of ideas or understanding of social media and explain how it can be creatively deployed to engage a company’s targeted demographic. At Social Turbine we took this approach and flipped it on its head. We took a look at the market and asked ourselves; Where is the true need? Why are so many businesses falling short of their social media goals? What can we do to take these dusty ideas and make them a reality?
The answer came in three pieces; Time, Resources and Knowledge.
Most businesses have the ideas and they know their customer, their business and their targets better than anyone. However, very few companies had the internal capacity to transform their ideas into plans, and their plans into action. (enter: social turbine.)
We built our company on the ideology that if we could find a way to connect the dots, to fill the voids, to bridge these gaps – companies would be less frightened of social media, more engaged online and provided with a firm social media foundation to build a validated presence, a loyal community and a sense of security that their business will still be relevant five years from now.
